Information for the authors

Abstracts:

Paper or poster abstracts (submitted via the Registration Form) approved by the Scientific Committee will be published in the conference materials.

Abstracts should be prepared according to the model document (abstract template).

 

Articles:

The articles of high scientific quality, prepared based upon papers and/or posters can be published in the following journals:

  • WOOD. Research papers. Reports. Announcements in accordance with the journal’s review procedure and guide for authors, on reviewing and acceptance by the Editorial Board.
    "Wood. Research papers. Reports. Announcements" ("Drewno") is an international scientific journal that publishes original results of innovatory basic and applied research concerning technological, technical, economic and ecological issues important for the wood science and forest-based industries, including their environment, and interesting to the international recipients. "Drewno" is an Open Access biannual journal; it is the only Polish scientific journal on wood science and one of approximately 20 world journals on wood science indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded, which is part of the ISI Master Journal List (in Poland the list is called the "Philadelphia List").

     
  • Acta Scientiarum Polonorum Silvarum Colendarum Ratio et Industria Lignaria
    The Acta Scientiarum Polonorum Silvarum Colendarum Ratio et Industria Lignaria (Polish Journal of Forestry) is a scientific journal founded in 2001 by all Polish Agricultural Universities. The original scientific peer-reviewed papers published in the journal cover main aspects of forestry and wood science. The papers are published in English, four issues yearly. The journal is issued in paper and online forms.
    The journal is the open access and non-profit enterprise. The published papers may be collected, read and downloaded free of charge - with Author's rights reserved. It has adopted a Creative Commons license CC BY-NC (Attribution-NonCommercial).
     

Reminder for poster authors:

The poster session will be held on September 16, on the third day of the Conference, from 1:30 – 2:30 pm.
During the session, poster authors will present one slide displayed on the main screen, followed by questions from the audience. The speaking time is 3 minutes, the time for questions is 2 minutes.
The slide should be prepared as a pdf in landscape and 16: 9 format and handed over on the day of the presentation at the latest. Contact person: Marta Górska, marta.gorska@up.poznan.pl
Paper versions of posters are not needed, we only use electronic ones.
